The year of 2015

Waking up in these dark and cold days is as hard as living without internet connectivity, so hard, so numb that it just makes me wanna go back into the warmth of my dearest fantasy. It didn't felt like the beginning of a new year in my dreams. When I got up, I noticed something turning up inside me, something exciting, something that makes me just wanna party. Guess this is what a new year feels like.

New Year doesn't come like that for me, it has the added excitement of my brother's birthday.
So the rest of the day was kind of a blur, getting dressed, and preparing my PP ( yea, I have a nickname for my Honda City, so what? ) for a family run.

As usual, me and my family found ourselves sitting at a table in Spice Cube, sharing a brilliantly cooked meal, light on spices, stomach but elegantly tasteful. To my surprise, who do I find sitting next to my table - Vivek Chopra, the comedian of my Senior class. Surrounded by his friends, he didn't had the slightest idea, or at least I thought he didn't, that I was sitting next to him enjoying my meal. Its not that I'm complaining he didn't noticed me, its just that one always remembers a close call when he sees or experiences it.

By now, the so called first page of a 365 page book ends for me, but this time was a wee bit different. Before I left Cube, I got a call from Bajri, insisting that we hang out with our mutual friend - Ganja.
I instantly acknowledged what hanging out on such a day meant for them; going to Kipps Market and roaming about while checking out the crowd, who surprisingly are there for the same reason.
Still a reasonable opportunity to spend quality time with my mates? Who could say no?
So I prepped myself, and was on my way to pick up Ganja Bajri (wow, the names merge quite well don't they?).

After enduring a longer than usual car trip with my brother which was filled with awkward silence, which was made less awkward by Billboard Hits blasting out of speakers of my PP, I finally picked up both Ganja and Bajri and were on our way to our destination waiting to be turned into owls. After ogling for a while, we went on to having our dinner at our usual Subway joint, after which we finally turned back to our homes.

Now, sitting on my bed, I'm wondering what should my New Year's resolution be? Its not like I've made any resolutions earlier, but this time I felt like I needed a resolution for this year.
Going over my cons, I finally decided on my New Year resolution -

Being more social and in contact with my friends on facebook & whatsapp.

Seemed like a good choice considering how horribly out of touch I was with my friends.

All in all, it felt like a good way to start 2015.
