Its 7 AM on a winter morning, the sun is still taking a nap. Darkness surrounds me throughout, I'm forcing my senses to find any signs of life around me, even a cricket chirping to find his female counterpart, but all I can hear is a weird, irritating noise that for some weird & unexplained reason is scaring the shit out of me.
I come to my senses, trying to find a reason for the knot that is growing in my stomach, and I take the first sane decision of this "Judgement Day" - turn off the irritating alarm (Note to self - change the alarm tune on my phone).
Ah, the day has come, the first day of the first industrial training batch of Year 2015. The day where good wins over evil, light vaporizes darkness, knowledge defeats ignorance, okay I'll stop now, this is getting ridiculous.
As I tend to say, Let's take it again from the top, its the first day of the first industrial training batch of year 2015. The day where we have to make the first impression that "Yes! We are different from all our competitors.", and that's what this day will be remembered for, for generations to come.
So my decision to take a head start (by waking up at 7 AM) wasn't that bad. With as much strength as I could muster, I pushed aside my quilt, and stepped down from my bed.
By 9:07 AM (I just don't get it, how do I always wind up getting late?) , I was entering through the doors of my office, with Deepak waiting for me informing me that the students had arrived and are waiting for me to address them.
Getting my head in the game, I entered the room and began the first session of the day.
.....
At around 11:30 PM, I find myself writing this post and going over the events of the day, now when I look back, trying to get a read of the looks on the faces of the students, I realized that it went well.
It sure does feels good when all the hard work you put, including a busy Sunday, pays off.
I was getting paranoid for absolutely no reason at all.
Silly me!
